Board Vice President Ryken called the Public Hearing to order at 5:30 p.m. Present was directors, Tracy Meyer by phone, Teresa Gergen and Jodi Durnil. Absent: Scott Kipp.

Also present: Kelly Zahrt, Board Secretary/Treasurer. Also Present: Jillian Anderson – Student Board Member and Meridith Sandlin – JEA President.
Board Secretary/Treasurer outlined budget breakdown and explained that the property tax rate in FY27 will be $13.35 per $1,000 valuation down from $13.56 in FY26.
Public Comment (SB Policy 213)
None.
Motioned by Durnil, seconded by Gergen to approve the Budget and Taxes for 2027 as presented, all ayes.
