Regular Board Meeting 

  • Pledge of Allegiance

  • Roll Call: Scott Kipp-Aye, Christy Ryken-Aye, Tracy Meyer-Aye, Teresa Gergen-Aye, Jodi Durnil-Aye.

  • Also present: BJ Meaney, Superintendent/HS Principal, Elementary Principal/Curriculum Coordinator, Kelly Zahrt, Board Secretary/Treasurer and Student Board Representative – Jillian Anderson.

Agenda Approval

  • Motioned by Meyer, seconded by Gergen to approve the Consent Agenda consisting of Bills and Financials, Appointments of Tori Hazard – Paraprofessional, Stephanie Cross – Paraprofessional, Ella Fuelling – Paraprofessional, Kasia Gansen – Paraprofessional and Latchkey, Pressley Pugh – Paraprofessional Internship, Tyler Russell – Latchkey, Dawson Graham, JH Asst. Football Coach, Madeleine Leary – JH VB Coach, Resignation of Amber Hoth – Girls Wrestling Coach and Maxwell Forseth – Asst. Wrestling Coach; all ayes.

Discussion Items (Information, non-action)

  • Business Manager Kelly Zahrt and Superintendent Meaney presented the 25–26-year end estimated figures.  The CAR report and Special Ed Supplement is due September 15th and will have more information at that time.

Action Items:

  • Motioned by Durnil, seconded by Ryken to approve Premiere Furniture and Equipment Quote of $15,102 as presented; all ayes.

  • Motioned Gergen, seconded by Meyer to approve A-Line Striping and Sweeping quote of $7,300 for asphalt repairs; all ayes.

  • Motioned by Gergen, seconded by Durnil to approve Amplify quote in the amount of $13,741.46 for Math Curriculum; all ayes.

  • Motioned by Meyer, seconded by Durnil to approve the Secondary Handbook changes as presented; all ayes.

  • Motioned by Durnil, seconded by Meyer to approve the two increases in lunch prices for adult lunches and milk as assigned by the USDA; all ayes.

Policy Reviews

  • None.

Upcoming Events and Community Updates

  • Superintendent Meaney discussed the purchase of an 11-person passenger van and stated that the staff will come back August 24th.

  • Board President – None

  • Elementary Principal/Curriculum Coordinator – None.

  • Student Board Representative – Jillian Anderson spoke about College Classes starting for students next week and the new Senior Poster project.

  • Next meeting date: September 21st at 5:30 p.m..
