Regular Board Meeting

Board President Tracy Meyer called the Regular Meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Present were Directors Kipp, Ryken, Gergen and Durnil.  Also present: BJ Meaney, Superintendent/HS Principal, Kelly Zahrt, Board Secretary/Treasurer, Sarah Adolphs and John Mallen.

Motioned by Gergen, seconded by Durnil to approve the Consent Agenda consisting of Minutes and Financials; all ayes.

Public Comment: John Mallen presented to the Board wrestling fundraising ideas and expressed his excitement for the growing program totally 100 kids.

Motioned by Kipp, seconded by Durnil to approve the six appointments as presented including Laney Eibey - Paraprofessional, Kaitlyn Zwanziger - Paraprofessional, Abi Foelske - Paraprofessional, Kaylan Lehman – Media Internship, Blake Porter – Tech Internship and James Santee - Baseball; all ayes.

Motioned by Gergen, seconded by Ryken to approve the three resignations as presented including April Clubine - Lighthouse, Jared Hoodjer – Baseball and Joel Holst - Baseball.

Motioned by Durnil, seconded by Kipp to approve the termination of Stephanie Smock, Paraprofessional; all ayes.

Motioned by Kipp, seconded by Durnil to approve the Activity Fund transfers as follows: Move the balance from Press Box back to Football and the balance from SB/BB Renovation back to Baseball; all ayes.

Motioned by Gergen, seconded by Kipp to approve the Infinite Campus Renewal from Computer Information Concepts in the amount of $8,943; all ayes.

Motioned by Durnil, seconded by Ryken to approve the purchase of volleyball nets from Sports Imports in the amount of $7,713.50 with the Booster Club reimbursing $3,856.75; all ayes.

Motioned by Ryken, seconded by Durnil to approve the 3-year Xello purchase in the amount of $9,750; all ayes.

Motioned by Kipp, seconded by Gergen to approve the addition of a Student School Board Representative Policy 1st Reading; all ayes. 

Superintendent Meaney discussed the Budget timeline, his Day on the Hill, Wrestling updates and Esports with the Board.

Next Meeting date will be held March 11th at 6 p.m.
